4th Annual Tournament of Rosie

In the spirit of friendship, camaraderie, and bragging rights, Team 839, Rosie Robotics has instituted a Golf Challenge to all participating FIRST teams at the 4th Annual Tournament of Rosie Scramble being held on June 4th in Agawam, MA . The beautiful gold “R2 Challenge Cup” will be awarded to the low gross FIRST team and engraved with your team name for display in your school or by your sponsor. See the official Rules below:


R2 Challenge Cup Rules

1. Open to any foursome of golfers (male, female or mixed, student or mentor) representing a current year registered FIRST Robotics team participating in the Annual Tournament of Rosie Golf Scramble hosted by the Agawam Robotics Booster Club at Agawam Municipal Country Club.

2. The lowest grossing foursome meeting the requirement set forth in Item 1 shall win “The R2 Cup” and shall have it for display at their school (or sponsor) for a period of one year, or until the next Tournament, whichever comes first.

3. The winning team shall return “the Cup” at the next Tournament and attempt to defend their title.

Current holder of the Cup and coming back to defend their title is Team 236, the Techno Ticks from Old Lyme, CT.

A number of teams have expressed an interest in coming, 88, 236 (Techno Ticks are defending Champions), 173, 176, 809, 1124, and others.
