Go to Post The purpose of the game rules is not to imagine and categorically list everything you should not do, but to give you guidelines of FIRST's intent and leave it to your developing good judgment to know what's acceptable and what is simply skirting the rules. - Mark McLeod [more]

I would love to come to IRI, and my daughter who will be a senior next year would like to visit Purdue this summer.

I need to travel with my wife and 4 kids (our 5th is in college) from Florida. We would probably fly up to Cincinnati or Indianapolis the weekend before and fly out the Sunday afterwards (1 week trip).

Our 15 year old twins (boy and girl) have no desire to travel to the midwest - it doesn't sound like fun to them. Our other daughter is 9. I need to figure out how to sell this idea.

What is there to do in Indiana and vicinity (within a couple days travel) that we could plan for fun as a family?
There are a few good museums in Indianapolis, among them:

1) Children's Museum of Indianapolis--It's not just for children.

2) Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum

3) Indiana State Museum

There are some very good amusement parks not too far away, like King's Island in Cincinnati, and Cedar Point (http://www.cedarpoint.com) in Sandusky, Ohio. The Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio is about 2 hour's drive from Indianapolis.

I hope this helps. If there are some specific things you are looking for, let us know, and maybe some of us who have spent a lot of years in Indiana can help.
