I enjoy CD in its "fuller" version much better. Yesterday's changes for widescreen viewing were difficult to say the least.

Brandon I have a suggestion. To satisfy everyone you could have both options. Using the power off CSS you can acchieve this quite easily. You can just have a link/button on the front page that the user can click can change the style and allow the users to view the website streached or fixed.
Something like this.
PHP Code:
currentWidth 990;
setWidth(990);

function
toggleWidth(){

currentWidth parseInt(currentWidth);
    var
newWidth =990;
    if(
currentWidth ==990){

newWidth 1200;
    }

setWidth(newWidth);

currentWidth newWidth;
}
function
setWidth(width){
    if(
width != 990){

newWidth 1200;

document.body.style.width '90%';
    }else{

document.body.style.width '990px';
    }

Because I wasn't planning on offering a choice. If I were, I would've given the choice and not had to dealt with all this discussion.

As I'm sure Brandon is thinking, maintaining multiple syles is a pain in the neck. I personally respect Brandon for putting in the time to create a whole new style...

Re: Resolution, part II.

is it back to before? i didn't visit yesterday.....
i like it as it is, as it looks perfect on a full screen browser at 1280*1024, images fit in perfectly and it just looks good.
I will have to see what its like at school on my 1024*watever (cant remember) as the naff monitors wont go above it without it going out of range....
