1031 Off-season Scrim in San Francisco?

If team 1031 was to hold an offseason scrimage in San Francisco, who would come?

Cal Games, if it takes place, would be in sept./oct, so keep that in mind.

Re: 1031 Off-season Scrim in San Francisco?

Yeah, we'll probably be going to cal games, just like last year.
Could you get the exact dates of cal games to me, if you have any access to that information? That'd be awsome.

As of now no planning has occurred for Cal Games. We are hoping to bring it back to Woodside for the third year, but nothing is certain.

If/when something is decided upon, I'm sure it will be posted on here for everyone to see.

I wouldn't mind having two off-season competitions within a month =)

I'm sure team 100 would go.

Awsome, thank you.
I wonder if anyone else can go. We need more than two teams to be able to go .

Re: 1031 Off-season Scrim in San Francisco?

We (481) would love to participate in either, if not both. We'd just like to see one happen. I'm not sure who would be next to organize Cal Games (awesome event) now that Ken is gone. Two would be great, but if a consolidated effort is needed to pull one through, I'd rather have one competition than none at all. We're willing to help some where needed.

Re: 1031 Off-season Scrim in San Francisco?

With enough notice, and provided it was on my fall break, I'd go...but I don't have a team that'd go with me...but I would be representing the West Lafayette Boilermakers

Re: 1031 Off-season Scrim in San Francisco?

I'm sure many of the bay area teams would come as well (like 254, 1072, 115, 114) -- even more if CAL games doesn't happen this year.

Some Southern California teams may go if it doesn't conflict with SCRRF Fall Classic or Workshops.

Thanks for making FIRST such a great experience for me. I'm no longer on 1351, and I'm not currently planning to mentor team 97, but FIRST has meant so much in getting me to where I am now, in life and at MIT, class of 2011.
I met Billfred! He recognized me!
