Way to go Brazilian Invitational!

This picture is impressive. There have been many robot field pictures, demo pictures, and off-season competition pictures on this site, but I have not seen a picture that has soooo many people packed around a FIRST playing field like this. You guys had to get shoe horns to get everyone that close to the field!

Way to go Brazilian FIRST teams, and kudos to teams 75 and 555 for making the effort to help make this event great.

The rest of us better watch out for more great things from our friends to the south.

Andy B.

74 thousand (!!) people over the six days of the exposition!
The main arena had approximately 60 seating spots, so the public completely disregarded it and tried to sneak at every possible place. In a practice match, we actually had a baby knocking down the magnetic tetra.
Thankfully it was a practice and no one got hurt, and better safety procedures were in place for the actual matches on Friday and Saturday, where we didn't have a single problem.
I have a big thank-you post coming up, and hopefully many more pictures of the event, so stay tuned for more info.
