Lexington Area Teams

Are there any teams in the Lexington (KY) area? I will be going to UK next year (Go Cats!), and I want to still be involved with the first community.

Re: Lexington Area Teams

According to FIRST's website, the only team from Kentucky is from Ft. Thomas, which is along the north border of the state...so no there are no teams near Lexington.

Re: Lexington Area Teams

We (1038 and 554) are the closest teams to Lexington at this time. Both are 100 miles north around Cincinnati. You are more than welcome to make the long haul up I-75 to work with us if you are not able to get a team going around UK. I'd be happy to help get something going there if needed. I'm not terribly familiar with the educational system in KY but my co-advisor used to work with 554 and was a teacher there for a few years. Let me know if we can help.
