yeah if I wasn't a diehard Tab fan I wouldn't acknowledge the exisitence of the company Coca- Cola. Therefore I <3 Tab and pepsi.

Re: Pepsi vs. Coke

Pepsi, all the way. I was SO happy that the Hard Rock in Atlanta serves Pepsi. By far, the best restaurant there.

I don't know about sweetness... maybe it's just me, but I always thought that Pepsi was sweeter. Coke is just a little too crisp for me.

Re: Pepsi vs. Coke

Coke! Pepsi is too sweet. Coke is the classic, crisp, refreshing taste that everyone can enjoy. Plus all the other coke products crush their pepsi equivalents (with the exception of the mountain dew line). Plus coke makes a PINEAPPLE SODA! Gotta love Pineapple Fanta
Gatorade>Powerade
Minute Made/Fanta (Orange)>Slice (Orange)
Sprite>Sierra Mist/Slice (Lemon Lime)-but all of those drinks taste horrible anyway
ect. ect. ect.

Re: Pepsi vs. Coke

My family hath turneth me against the coca-cola.. I used to be the only person in my family who drank coke... not any more..
I have turned on it over the years.

Even though I still collect Coca-Cola items and what not, I have to :shudder: admit that Pepsi is better.

The reason: It stays carbonated longer. Coke goes flat too fast.

<side topic> Yes, Dr. Pepper rox my world more than Coke or Pepsi does as well. </side topic>

That is the only reason I love coke! I don't drink anything carbonated.

Oddly enough Pepsi is bottled in my hometown of Rolling Meadows and I still like Coke better.

Re: Pepsi vs. Coke

I think the question is not Coke or Pepsi but Coke in what type of container.

Coke tastes different depending on what container it is in. So would you pick:

Plastic Bottle
Aluminum Can
Glass Bottle
or Fountain (if fountain, name from what restaurant)

?

I would pick glass bottle probably. Although they are all very good.

YEah, I don't notice the diffrent in most of those probably because I have never had coke in a glass bottle. But I do find the difference in fountatin. We work the Georgia Dome Events and run the pap John stands and the fountains are much less carbonated and much sweeter at the dome games.

Coke is cool. Coke in a glass bottle is even cooler cause I think its harder to find.

Re: Pepsi vs. Coke

I've got to go with Pepsi on this one. Pespi in a can tends to be more syrup and less carbonation. As far as Coke at a bar, the syrup does tend to make the drink sweeter due to the calibration in the gun and the fact most people order mixed drinks because they don't want to be able to taste the alcohol. Just a little FYI those guns that the soda comes out of are horrendously dirty. Most places don't calibrate the guns well and cleaning happens maybe once a week because you have to take the guns apart to clean them properly and that takes quite some time. I do this at work every week because no one else will do it. Oh and I don't drink Coke because I have a problem putting something in my body that cleans corrosion off battery terminals. YIKIES!
