Does anyone know if you can make your personalizations show up at google.com rather than google.com/ig?

I don't use Google as my homepage, so it's kind of annoying to have to type out the whole address.

If you use firefox, then just make a new bookmark with the keyword being "google" and the URL "http://www.google.com/ig". Then when you type google into the address bar, hit enter, it'll bring you to google.com/ig

Hey! Look at that... I didn't know you could type in the name of bookmarks in your address bar.

Although I do have it as my homepage.
