Re: Simple telescope (lenses)

many refractor telescopes are sold with a 90° prism eyepiece holder, that lets you look down into the eyepiece, (allows a shorter tripod) and it mirrors the image vertically

so the image looks right side up (upside up?!), but its still mirrored left and right (left side right?!)
