Who's ready for WPI3?

Just wanted to know who is ready for the brawl that is about to take place on hte 15th. 151 is sorta ready, got to make some new wheels for it though, but other than that, we are ready, spiritually!!!!

I am so ready for this. There are so many good teams going, including a few teams we really want to play against.

I am a little nervous though becuase myself and the senior driver (who is amazing) are giving our spots to underclassmen but I think they will be just fine.

Our robot needs a cleaning and some new treads, thats about and and we are good to go.

This will be our third off-season competition and we are looking to win it so we can say we won the "Tripple Crown." It will be very interesting.

I'm physically ready, but my mind isn't with it yet: I have to get through these last few weeks of school first. The robot isn't _quite_ ready yet, but thats what the early morning is for, eh?

Heh, I should take a picture to show our current robot's state. It's not good, lol...

Well for starters it doesnt have wheels/chain right now (picture a bot on cinder blocks).... The rollcage (if you know our design you understand) is just sitting there on top crooked, gripper is barely on (it needs a new motor we are getting from 569), and our new top secret device is just there, halfway done, not wired at all, etc etc....

Oh yea and it's filthy from all the community demos we did

Well I must say that the first two off-season competitions of the summer were more than exciting! I had a blast and my hats go off to the teams who competed in them, giving us some extremely good matches! What I gotta say though, is if Rally and Mayhem were so good, Battlecry is just gonna be flat out insane! Battlecry, with its lineup this year, is starting to take shape as the new "All Star Game" of FIRST, a title that I haven't given out since Rumble at the Rock was still in exsistance. What I would love to see is in the next couple of years, for some teams from across the USA start to get involved, and bring this promising competition to the point Rumble was at during its last year (which by the last year, I took more value in the Rumble title than I would have taken in the National competition title!) But this one is looking great. I am personally looking forward to stepping out from behind the microphone for a competition and getting back into the action a bit with team CHAOS! Cant wait to see you all there!

Andy, You should see the list of teams coming to the "Indiana Robotics Invitational"... it's like an all-star event in itself. It's going to happen on July 19-20.

Maybe the winning alliace from Battlecry could make a road trip out to the IRI?

first of all, I would like to thank 190, for picking us at mayhem. hope you would like ot work with us at battlecry again!, but this is gonna be wicked smooth, I also like how WPI iis going to do the whole team selection, everybody makes it beyond the
Q-matches. this is gonna be like a regional for the northeast all-stars.

The troops are ready to go and the drive team is going to be back for WPI at Tyngsboro the driver was the only one who had experience with the robot. Can't wait to compete again and we too will have a new surprise to sport. We decided this time around we wanted to be a picking team and not wait to be the first round draft pick.
