Sausage: What's the Deal?

Sausage, links and patties. What's up with that? Isn't all ground up flesh stuffed into the oiled intestine of the animal is was ripped from equal?

When a farmer makes a leather bull whip from killing a cow and making the skin into a whip, it's like he's murdering their girlfriend, skinning her and torturing them with a device made from her flesh.

Putting an egg on a chicken sandwich is adding insult to injury, since you're killing the chicken, roasting the corpse, frying her unborn children to death and then eating them all together.

What kind of messed up civilization is this? It's weird when you think about it from another perspective.

As for comaparing killing a cow to killing a girlfriend, that is completly ridiculous. Please, explain how this makes any sense. One is a cow, the other is a human being?? I must be missing something, because it seems like sort of a stretch.

How can you equivicate killing a cow, to feed people, to murdering someone? One is does in malice, the other is done for food?(hint, cow=food). I'm not sure how you can make that comparison seriously, you must be joking.

Hey, being a vegan is fine, but insulting what other people eat with inappropriate and nonsensical comparisons is downright rude and silly, as well as somewhat sickening: to think that someone values cows as much as human beings, and can even consider comparing eating meat to murdering someone's girlfriend.

That, I think, went over the line, at least for me.

it's simple. if you view the cow as a spouse or significant other, you don't eat it. i don't need to know you view the cow that way, and i don't care if you view a cow that way. humans evolved to eat meat (and that is a fact), so i'm going to eat me nice red meat from a cow. are you going to stop me with strange comments? no. in fact, i could go for a nice big london broil about now anyone else want?

and also, about the egg. all eggs that humans eat (in america at least), are NOT fertalized, as in, no baby. so, we eat the nutrients that a baby chick would be getting, but doesn't because it's not alive, and never will be. if the egg you ate had a baby chick in it, it wouldn't be such a nice shade of white and yellow. so, by having a chicken and egg sandwich, you're eating chicken, and then not wasting extra nutrients. if anything, putting an egg on a chicken sandwich is good, because it's not wasting all the time and effort the chivken put into makig the egg, cause you're using it for energy.

I like sausage. But who made up the different ways to serve it?

And what would you feel like if you were the cow? Who said the girlfriend was a human? It's the cow's girlfriend. Don't you people know what an analogy is?

The problem is that humans arent' bred for food, so they dont' know what it's like. I'm not saying I know, but I can think about it. How would you feel if some alien speices came to your school, flayed a couple students and used the flesh to make some whips to herd y'all into their spacey ships?

#1, that would'nt happen.

#2, people are NOT animals. At least, I believe people have spritual differences that separate them from other creatures. No other creature, I think, is capable of attaining the higher emotions that human beings have.

#3 What's your beef ( ) with people eating animals? It's kinda always been done, you know, and you yourself eat sausage. As for different ways to serve it, variety is a good thing, just as there are many different ways to consume vegatables.

#4 The cows are bred for food, and they are incapable of thinking too much, thus, they don't have ANY thoughts, when it comes to being bred for food. Human beings would have quite a lot to say about aliens coming down, probably in the form of 30 ought 6, 9mm, and 7.62 NATO

Comparing people to cows is silly, because the 2 are not comparable entities. Just as you can say "apples don't know what is like to be oranges," the same is true for people and cows, nuff said. the end.

Talking

Fine, be ignorant. It's not my problem. And I doubt that if an alien race had the technology to travel to the earth, the result would be the the destruction and enslavement of the entire human populous.

I think the people on this board are far to serious. Haven't you ever just thought of weird things to see them from another perspective?
