Hurricane Katrina

Our thoughts go out to Lousiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and all other states that have been affected by Hurricane Katrina. Hope everyone's safe down there!

Re: Hurricane Katrina

If there is anyone who was contact with anyone in the lousiana, mississippi area please let me know. I have been trying to contact my mom and little brother and sister in Biloxi, Mississippi. I have tried their home and cell number and all systems are down. I can't even get updates from the local news station WLOX because they have taken major damage. If any one has any updates please please let me know.

Re: Hurricane Katrina

I'm from down there, but Im in starkville at college. The infrastructure down there is completely wiped out, no phones or anything. If you want some videos/pictures go to www.wlox.com and www.sunherald.com. Thats the local station and paper, the whole area has been completely wiped out. This storm was worse than Hurricane Camille, which had been a benchmark of what is bad up until this point. Death toll is already over 80 and is expected to cap 200.

Re: Hurricane Katrina

It looks pretty horrendous down there...My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved and I'll try to donate some money to my Red Cross...Anything helps in a situation like this!
