Email Virus?
Hello,
I just received email from The Meeting Company and from two hawaii teams that seemed very much to be a virus, probably one that attacks Microsoft Outlook (fortunately I use web mail!) Anybody else receive anything suspicious? Anyone know the name or nature of this virus? Thanks, Eric. |

Is your anti-virus up to date?
Our school Exchange server runs a virus check on every piece of email that comes in. We catch about 2-6 virus attachements a day. I have no idea if we got one from the Meeting Company though as I am not the contact for that.
Have you run a virus scan on these files? Any less than weekly updates is not soon enough by the way. Going without a virus scanner is insane. |

For more info...
If you forward the questionable message to me at crazynate@provide.net, it will get sent through our mail server's virus scan, and then if it is indeed a known virus, you'll get a message back telling you which one...otherwise, I'll take a look at it and see if the format looks familiar...
