What do the professionals think?

I've also noticed one thing about the visualization award, the rookie or a team that qualifies for the rising star award is not giving out at a regional level. This is the first year that my team is going to submit a video and i don't know whether i should go for the rising star award or the normal one.

I say this because i know who judges them at the regional level, which is peers, and i know they look for the most spectacular one. (or though it seems). My question is what do the judges look for at nationals? I thought the one that won at St. Louis regional this year was far better than the one that won a Nationals.

And if the rising star award is only giving at Nationals, does the winning team have to be present? I'm asking all these questions because i only got one shot at this before I'm done and off to collage. My goal is to take the award. Should i submit the video as a normal veteran even though i qualify for Rising star?
