OOH you depending on how big the cave is that would be perfect! Like pull into the cave on your jet ski and have spiral staircase leading into a house on top! That would be like a SUPER AMAZING house. Is it just me or did CD change its smilies order.

You're right! The smilies just played musical chairs.

By the way, that's a beautiful island, the kind you might see in Big Bear Lake, CA. A granite pile with trees on top.

If you look closely there is a tiny island to the left of Boldt Castle. There is actually a cabin there, but not a whole lot of yard. In the springtime the water actually comes up to the door!

Re: Everyone call Dean Kamen Lord Dumpling

apparently not - that looks like it might be a bush growing, not a tree

or its possible a tree might have sprung up on a smaller rock than Tom Thumb island, which would qualifiy it as the new 'smallest island' in the area.

There are lots of rocks that stick up just above the surface, and some that are only a few inches below the surface, depending on the waterline

they had to come up with a rule (draw the line somewhere). A tree being able to grow has a lot of implications about whether the 'island' is submerged during the year, how far above the water line it is, how much dirt is present...

Im not an expert on the region, but the last I heard Tom Thumb was the official smallest island in the area.

BTW - this thread has turned out to be very informative :^)
