in the circle of socks going around, the whites seem to be dominating the center of the circle, where the reds are being flung around on the outside. although hats and helmets seem to be quite fair and we see a couple colors of each on differing levels of altitude, the lowly socks seem not able to rise anywhere above the knee level due to their discrimination of the red ones.
