[OCCRA]: Bending Sheet Metal

When our team read over the list of tools we are allowed to use, we didn't see any thing about "a binder" (personally Ive never heard of of Anny thing by this Name) but its used to bend 1/8 aluminum sheet metal. I just wanted to make sure if the tool is allowed . If not we will have to do it the old fashioned way!

The tool you are refering to is called a "Bar Folder". It is a tool that makes precision bends in sheet metal. This is a common tool found in a sheet metal shop or machine shop.

This tool is NOT on the list and cannot be used.

Official answer: This tool cannot be used.

Reason: This is tool is not available to all teams. To purchase is quite expensive. And YES it would be a competitive advantage and thus not allowed ... sorry you will need to bend the old fashion way.
