OFFICIAL ANSWER - MIKE MARTUS
You may NOT change the sprocket on the Dewalt motor. Changing this sprocket will make your robot illegal and it will not pass inspection and will not compete. I say this because the other sprockets that are legal would take machining to get the job done. Precision machining is not allowed.

If you were to adapt some type of shaft to the output that would also likley require precision machining.

Like said earlier you can change the size of the driven or make a "Jack Shaft" arrangement. This is where you have another axel with sprockets to increase or decrease the ratio.

If you are in this situation I suggest that you re - look at your design. You may have other choices.
