Re: Sweet Repeat VI -- October 8
I wish there were a way to salvage it. But we don't even know what went sour. I do know we had nine refs - a score keeper - and 22 teams ready to hit the field. At this time we can only guess whether it was loosing the venue, or lack of volunteers, or whatever?
I am sad that the teams from our area (which includes our friends from Indiana) have lost their final chance to get their rookies' feet wet and to give their '05 robot another go. Rochester, NY and Ra Cha Cha now apears less far away than before. I wonder --- if my son and I loaded the Vue with the robot and some batteries whether we could borrow another driver and human player once we got there? We've not needed all those spare parts and tools so far this year [famous last words] no use dragging them with us! [/famous last words] |
