One of our mentors who was signing up a new VEX team received the following information from the VEX program coordinator in Manchester (sent to her from a Boston team - THANX Boston!).
"I went in to Radio Shack the other day to discover they are having a sale for teachers that runs until the end of October. For a starter kit there is a $100 discount at the register AND a $100 Radio Shack gift card after a mail-in rebate. One per household, and supposed to be a teacher to qualify. The store in Newington is where I found the sale. The salesman explained it should be available at all stores as an unadvertised special. They had it listed on the shelf when I walked in." |
