Does anyone know if its possible to upgrade the copy of Inventor to 5.3 or do you have to pay extra?

Most likely you have to pay. None of these money grubbing modeling companies upgrade anything for free.

Uhmm....

You might want to check here...they have some updates...

The description google gave about this site is "... This service pack updates Autodesk Inventor™ 5.3. You will need to have the
Original Inventor 5 CD in the CD-ROM drive in order to install this patch...."

The problem with those is there either for 5 or 5.3 i can't seem to find how you get from 5 to 5.3. From what i've seen it's like a new version you have to buy the upgrade, but if someone could tell me for sure that would be great.
