We know that CD's arent on the aditionial materials list, but they are readily available to every team (still have way too many AOL trial cd's) so we thought we would ask if we could use them as a giant plastic washer on our robot. Thanks

You have answered your own question. The cd's are not on the additional materials list you cannot use them.

Just because they are readily available is not justification for changing the rules after the season has started.
