Re: WRRF November 12th workshop announcement

At the last WRRF workshop, I was asked to make the slides of the
Physics session available on the net. I indicated that I would post
them to the white papers section on this web site. It turns out that
the files for the slides are two large to post to the white papers section.

As a result of this difficulty, the slides for the workshop have been made available at:
http://www.srvhsrobotics.org/eugeneb...botPhysics.pdf
The "speakers notes" view is available at:
http://www.srvhsrobotics.org/eugeneb...ysicsNotes.pdf
Some slides have been added since the presentation at the workshop.

Other useful documents can be found in the same directory by opening
http://www.srvhsrobotics.org/eugenebrooks
and looking to see what is there.

Re: WRRF November 12th workshop announcement

Team 114 will not be helping out with the 3dsmax workshop. I'm the lead animator and the one who would be helping. A teammate volunteered me without asking my consent, and I have emailed Ceal Craig declining to participate. sorry for the confusion.

Please email CealCraig@Druai.com a list of students attending (& mentors) along with what workshops EACH person will attend. Names are required.

Substitute names can be provided the day of the workshops, but the workshop selections will stay as originally submitted UNLESS room is available to make the change.

DIRECTIONS:
Santa Clara University is located near State Highway 101, County 87 (Guadalupe Parkway), and Interstate 880. You can locate directions and more detailed street information at http://www.scu.edu/map/

After turning west off of El Camino Real through the entrance onto Palm Drive, (past stadium on the left/south) take the second LEFT opportunity and drive into the Parking structure (first left opportunity is into a parking lot for the stadium); parking is FREE on Saturday. The Engineering building is directly west of this structure, Building 404 on the map. We won’t have a lot of signs; I’m sure you all can figure this out. (Same building as last year and in October).

** Meet in Room EC 326 (third floor) to register.
** NOTE -- meet on third floor inside building!!

REMINDER: WRRF November 12th workshop announcement

Folks, we don't have too many registrations for Saturday, Nov-12, workshops. Only a handful of teams have responded.

So, we will likely offer each workshop only ONCE (vs. twice as planned) that day. We have four NEW workshops (different from the Oct-22 workshops), two on software/controller, one on 3Dsmax, and one on project/team planning for success.

Unless I get a bunch of signups on Friday... and we need to offer these twice...

Last, but not least, I truly now have engraved in my head that Eileen Laitinen is from Team 115, sorry for confusion and such.

Looking forward to seeing you all at Santa Clara University for some great workshops!

Re: WRRF November 12th workshop announcement

The corrected address for the notes from the Physics portion of the WRRF workshop is:

http://srvhsrobotics.org/eugenebrooks/RobotPhysics.pdf
The "speakers notes" view is available at:
http://srvhsrobotics.org/eugenebrook...ysicsNotes.pdf
Some slides have been added since the presentation at the workshop.

Other useful documents can be found in the same directory by opening
http://srvhsrobotics.org/eugenebrooks
and looking to see what is there.

The www. seems ephemeral,
Sorry...
