I'd have to say Equilibrium and The Boondock Saints (bonus points if anyone's actually seen Boondock Saints!). Both make comments on society, Equilibrium on -- at least as I see it -- conformity, government, and control; Boondock Saints on morality. I know Donnie Darko is profound on some level, just I haven't figured it out yet.
