Someone didn't follow the procedure, and you got a mouthful of soggy pink flesh as a result.

You really can't blame the chain. Burger King's (and others) are independantly owned and operated. The people who open up these places bought into the franchise. Like Tristan said, they have involved procedures and someone wasn't on the ball with your order.
