Something is on the Horizon...

http://sachiel7.memebot.com/retrosys

Somethings coming along....
I wonder what it could be?

(Stay tuned. Site will launch within the next few days)
And no, I'm not gonna say what it's about yet. I like to see you guess.
(Although it's probably fairly obvious.)

(edit)PS: There is a reason I put this thread here...

Re: Something is on the Horizon...

When this thread proves to be relevant to the Electrical forum, I'll have it moved back and have the title changed so that its content is more obvious. Until then, to chit-chat you go.

Ah shoot, I forgot.
Oh well, it'll move back soon.
If anyone wants to take any guesses in the meantime, feel free...

Hmmmm well after going through the code i did notice a huge amount of it is commented out. I would say its your teams new website but it seems unlikely since this was originally in electrical.... heralding a new invention for you teams robot maybe? Hope it's up soon.....

No, It's not really related to the competition, rather, it's something I'm doing in my freetime. (Now that I think of it, you could adapt it to function with the robot in one way or another). I think it will interest alot of fellow FIRSTers here at CD though...
It does have to do with a few components that were involved in FIRST.

Re: Something is on the Horizon...

If we guess correctly do we get one for free?

I would say you have created a control system for older FIRST robots, so that teams that still have their bots from, oh lets say... 1998, can buy a control system and get them running?

Either that, or its an electric dog polisher!

Re: Something is on the Horizon...

Heh, I wish I could give away a kit to make one for free, unfortunately, it cost me over $250 (so far) just to make the one that I'm working on. (And I just finished my seasonal job)
It's purpose doesn't really have anything to do with FIRST or FIRST Robots, but , it could easily be used some way or another with a FIRST Robot.
It has more to do with circuitry...

As for polishing the dog, it might take a little more tweaking than usual....

I think I'll have the site launch tomorrow. Stay tuned....
