Exclamation Just saw first robots on the spanish channel

I forgot the name of the show but they had robots from this year and last year. I think the one team number was 31 or 32.

Yo man, I saw that too. I was eatin my sandwich and flipped thru the channels, and there it was. They showed team 37's robot from last year's competition and 2 years ago. Then they showed team 168's robot from this year's competition. It was intense.

I didn't see that, but I did see team 8's robot in some german magazine. I think it was an article about FIRST, but I'm not sure, seeing as how it was in german. There were pictures of the animation....

I really didn't like the fact that the show had the robots moving the goal with a lady on top of it. Why is it with the spanish channel everything has to be a little risque?

To be exact, it was Univision, the biggest spanish channel, and it happened to be aired INTERNATIONALLY. I was going to say something about it here on the boards, but nobody ever gave me an exact date as to when it was going to air. Glad to hear we actually made it on! Wish I had gotten to see it though....

Were you on that show or did you just know about it? It was funny you could hear the host speak spanish but at the same time you heard people in english saying were trying to move the robot away from the camera.

I saw it in the german room at school. There were a bunch of them. I'll try and get one when I go back, but I can't promise you she still has them.

I wasn't on, people from my team were. Oddly enough though, I work with the people at Univision all the time, and I actually heard about it from one of their lighting directors before I heard about it from someone on the team.

spanish channel FIRST bots

BAck in april I was attending the New Hampshire All State Music Festival. The first night in my hotel room I turned on the TV, flipped through the channels, and wound up on the spanish channel. They were showing a 2002 competition (which location i dont know), I remember one of the 700's teams bot and i think one from the 900's being shown, it was pretty cool.
