World Cup Quarters

England
Vs
Brasil

Germany
Vs
USA

Spain
Vs
South Korea

Senegal
Vs
Turkey

This world cup is a total shocker

The Italians just were defeated by South Kore (My personal opinion, the ref handed the game to Korea)

Predictions?

My guess:
Brazil vs Senegal
USA vs South Korea

It would be amazing to see an African-Asian final.

If the US made it to the finals I think half the world would crap their pants...

And if the US won the world cup... I think half the world would declare war on the US...

Hrm I like those predictions wheelman....the US has an excellent chance this year.....Brazil is having an "off year" for them and Germany is in re-building so there really isnt too much else that could get in their way...

Smile USA

That would be sweet if USA won the World Cup, i've been watching various games here and there (the last South Korea game was pretty interesting)....

Jeff: the game is probably on ESPN or ESPN:2

By the way: this World Cup stuff is confusing, i dont get it....if a team loses it can still advance? Is there some sort of point system?

I think Brazil, Spain, Senegal and Germany (sry but they r playing REALLY good this year) will make it to the semifinals...

Brazil vs. Senegal
Germany vs .Spain

then Senegal and Spain would advance... and then Spain will take the world cup.

How could you say that Germany is playing well....they are playing terrible! This isn't the Germany that we have seen in previous years

If Fredile holds up and the US Defence holds up expect the US to move on....

There are 32 teams to start out. They qualify to get there. The first round is refered to as the group round becase they are divided into groups of four. Each team plays the others, for three games each. These are point games. Only the top two of each group moves on to the round of 16. From the round of 16 on, it is single elimination. The round of 8 is the quarterfinals.

so very bored, 20 minutes till the game. Just finished watching Brazil/England and after seeing the Brazilians control the ball with a man down and come back from an early goal, i will have to say Brazil will take it.

srry to say, but realistically, Germany over USA

senegal advances over Turkey

south korea's run stopped by spain.

brazil beats germany in finals

sorry but germany played better than the US today. US put a hell of a fight till the last minute and even though Germany was winning, they never stopped attacking..that's the Best way to play defense.
