and rode off, to win at a Regional

Heidi I said as we boarded a Bluebird for Pittsburgh
Atlanta seems like a dream to me now!
It took me four days to hook the pnuematics up
Im gonna win at the regional!

Laughing on the bus, playing games with noisemakers
She said the man in the blue denin shirt was DK
I said be carefull, his sneakers are really a Segway

Toss me a speed control, I think theres one in my raincoat
we smoked the last one an hour ago
so she looked at our strategy
and led cheers for the team
as the crowd roared over the playing field

Heidi we lost I said, though I knew she was weeping
our goals were all empty and I dont know why?
counting the score on the New Jersy turnpike
we're all done
we lost at the regional
