Germany may have played better today but overall Germany has not played up to the Standard of German Soccer......Yes the 8-2 victory or whatever was impressive but remember its Saudi Arabia......and then Germany losing to Ireland..wow that was bad....but now Germany gets Spain (Who beat Ireland) or South Korea (Who have referee control) Germany does have the talent to win the whole thing and there isnt very much that could get in their way but it is going to be really tough....if this was the German team of 98 id say they would breeze right through...

Oh well we just have to wait and see

Were you watching the same game as me. For once, US controlled the ball and set up plays rather than just kick/run. Mexico outplayed the US but lost; the US (by some miracle) outplayed germany but lost

I won't say who will take the World Cup this year in my opinion, cause we arleady saw a lot of surprises (a lot of zebras, like we say here).

By the way, if everybody was saying that we were playing badly since 98, and this year's is the World Cup of surprises, maybe WE will be a surprise.

------

Did you see that free-kick goal against England?? That boy is a genius.

------

Congratulations for making it to the quarter-finals! If it was a basketball tournment, I would be really glad if Brazil was in the quarter-finals.
