Hi, I am in the middle of a huge project involving social robots. I'm working on this with two other Team 703 members (my brother and a friend of ours). We have to present this project at the Michigan Governor's Conference on Education at the beginning of February, at a Science and Engineering Fair, and as our Senior Project to graduate from high school. We may also present at the 2006 FIRST National Convention in Atlanta. This project involves making four robots and a "base station". The basic purpose is for the robots to communicate with each other and help each other with tasks. They will also simulate a socioeconomic model that will include payment for assigned tasks in units of power. The robots are intended to work together to achieve common goals (kind of like FIRST). Unfortunately, we only have a few weeks before the project deadline and the new FRC game

. We originally planned to build are own robot controllers from scratch but it doesn't seem as if that's going to happen. Because of this we are calling out to the FIRST community for help. We
NEED 4 EduBot CONTROLLERS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If there is anything you can do to help us please post a reply or email me at p.a.carole at gmail dot com. NOTE:
YOU WILL GET YOUR CONTROLLERS BACK as soon as these presentations are over (most likely the end of spring). We will post any new programming techniques that we discover while programming the AI for these robots. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. Look for us at the Cleveland, Detroit, and Greater Toronto Regionals!
P.P.S. We are also looking for sponsors for this project.
