Questions regarding Vex Competition
Hey everyone, for those attending the Vex competition at Lancaster High School (team 399) on January 7, we were wondering what everyone thinks about the autonominous part of the competition. We noticed at the SCRRF competition not many teams participated in this, and those that did didn't seem to have had much success and we were wondering if it is worth investing our time in setting this up. Any input is greatly appreciated
Also for those attending what movie would you be interested in seeing in the theatre for the after party? We look forward to seeing you on January 7th! Thank you, Team 399 |

Re: Questions regarding Vex Competition
I was at the VEX regional in St. Louis and I didn't see many people using more then just driving forward and setting on the white pad. There was one team that collected lots of balls and then scored them and sat on the pad. But, you could get away with just going forward and stopping on the white pad. Personally, I didn't like it, but we never got ours to work the way we wanted.

We didn't get ours to work all that great either, primarily because of the new EasyC version. Although we did get it to work on several occasions, I felt that the controlled events were more eventful than the autonomous portion. |
