true that residential gps is +/- 10 feet but differential gps is good down to a few inches... the only problem is GPS doesn't work inside, it is hard to get line of sight with satellites when there is a roof in the way. :-P as for my opinion i like the idea of a robotic field element and small game elements piled up (golf balls) anyway we will find out soon enough.
