New Magazine "Robot" w/Vex, FIRST, & Lego everywhere
The first issue of Robot includes a review of Vex (although not directly FIRST related) as it's cover article. In addition, in the article about robotics competitions, which has sections about FRC & FLL/FVC, and includes a short interview with team 1700 (Gatorbotics).
Also in the not-quite-FIRST area, there's a how-to on a pnuematically-driven RCX-based legged robot and a review of the iRobot Roomba (Remember in 2004 when Dave was telling us about Tooth, and the guy who made it? He started iRobot.) (The news-stand price is $6.00US. I've linked to on-line articles when available, which isn't many of them.)
