You're invited to Second annual F.C.S.E. (F.I.R.S.T. CT Snowboarding/Ski Experience)

January 1st, 2006 we will be holding the second annual F.C.S.E. (F.I.R.S.T. CT Snowboarding/Ski Experience) event at Mount Southington. For those of you who don't know, the F.C.S.E. is an activity that we started last year to help bond our team together. We get as many people from our team and other local teams to go to Mt. Southington to Snowboard or Ski (your choice).

This is not a fundraiser, but rather just a day that people can get together before the new season starts.

We will be arriving at Mt. Southington around 9am (All day lift ticket is from 9am - 5pm). To rent equipment and buy a lift ticket it will cost about $70 for both skis and snowboards. To just rent a lift ticket it will cost about $35. Also bring money for food (which will be about $10 - $15 more dollars).

Please let me know if you can come or if you have any questions, please contact either myself, ScottShaw237, or K.Shaw via AIM or PM.

Feel free to just show up, as we should be there from 9-5 all day long somewhere on the Mountain.

Mt. Southington Info: http://www.mountsouthington.com/php/

Address for finding directions: 396 Mount Vernon Road, Plantsville CT 06479

Hope to see a bunch of you there.

If you do go I'll donate a large bottle of Advil and a couple Percocets to the Elgin Clock Ski Fund (E.C.S.F.)!

Yes folks, the E.C.S.F. will be available at the F.C.S.E. to encourage Elgin to go down the mountain again on a snowboard.

Just kidding!

I'm not sure yet. If I do I'll bring my camera again so I could catch some more good moments like Elgin's wipeout.

I'll see if I can round up a few Gus members. Most of the drive team skis or boards.

Elgin, if you need some lessons, this old timer can give you a few pointers.

Snowboarding longer than FIRST has been around!
(and yes there were snowboards back then)

Hey Arthur, glad to hear that.

Hope to see you on Sunday sometime if I actually make this one.

Anyone else wants to go, just either show up, or contact us and let us know so we know to look out for you.

I don't think we'd get there before noon. Other personal commitments, but we'll do our best to get some team 228 members there.
