Re: How Do You Pronounce Chief Delphi?
I remember from way back in the good days of Nickelodeon, there was this show called Wienerville. One of their inserts was this cartoon with two relatively mad scientists, I forget the name. Anyway, when they got to an important word, they would always show how to pronounce it by breaking it down into two syllables, and it was quite funny. 'Pillow' for example was broken down into "pill and low, pillow."
So, how to pronounce Delphi: its Del and phi, for Delphi. Now how you pronounce the 'phi' part of it is totally up to how you prefer it. Personally, cheef delfee seems a bit too dull and too wierd. Joe |
