I have exactly what you are looking for.
WPI Frontiers is a program for incoming HS Juniors/Seniors to learn about Math, Science, and Engineering. I will spare you the marketing speak, it's all on their webpage. I did it last summer with the focus on Mathematics, but they also have an option to do Robotics as the focus. I know Art Dutra, an active member of CD and VEX wizard, attended for the Robotics focus, which this year had VEX kits. Last year, they actually had a 'scholarship' for FIRST kids doing the Robotics focus. I'm not sure if that was a one year thing or not. The program is 2 weeks long and you stay at WPI in Worchester, MA in the dorms. You meet a lot of other cool kids who are interested in neat things, and get to learn a bit over the summer. It's also a good way to get a little peek at what college life is like. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
