Go to Post To anyone who is discouraged about their team, don't let yourself get down. I've seen my team go from having a robot that barely moved (and I'm not kidding, we had keys falling out of gearboxes) to this year with a robot that is ACTUALLY GOING TO WORK. Don't lose hope, stick with FIRST! - ZipTie3182 [more]

Re: HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!!

Try translating him to the Pros though.
He is slower and bigger than Vick. Trying to avoid the 5'8" Strong Safety on a college team is much different then the 250 LB 6'3" Linebackers that are gonna be used on Spy plays in the Pro's.
By all means I'm not saying he is a bad player, but for all the hype he is given, he is overrated. Lee Corso called him the best player he has ever seen in Football.
Yeah, he is a good scrambler. Yeah he has a decent arm.
But try and translate it into the NFL.

What happens when he tries to scramble against the Linebackers and ends that are faster and bigger than him, instead of the 20 yard pickups, you are gonna see short pickups or him getting hurt. With his size, he is a big target, and most likely, not the best candidate to be running the ball.
Im also not a fan of the Mike Vick type player. To me a quarterback should be used for passing and the eventual scramble if need be.

Right now, if he declares for the draft, I rate the quarterbacks eligible as follows.
Leinart, Troy Smith(OSU), Young, Michael Robinson(PSU).

If you do say something that isn't just for fun or praising something, which hopefully you do, just be prepared to back up what you said.

Remember: GP is Gracious Professionalism, not Glorifiying Plesantries. Saying something negative does not mean you are evil. It could help someone out a lot.

Anything that I post is an opinion from my own mind. Some may agree with it, others may not. However do not negatively associate anyone else, including any team I work with, with my opinion.
