BitTorrent Video Clips Available

FIRST Community,

I have captured today's kickoff from the NASA channel and chopped it up into segments and am serving them out via BitTorrent. Feel free to download them (in WMV or MPG format), but if you do, please keep your client open for a while after the download completes to help out the seeding for others.

The torrents are called 20060107-nn Whatever and can be pulled from my tracker at http://ldeffenb.dnsalias.net:30049

You can download a BitTorrent client from www.BitTornado.com (Windoze only) or www.BitTorrent.com.

Lynn (D) - Team Voltage 386

Re: BitTorrent Video Clips Available

The entire webcast was immediately available from the NASA site:
http://robotics.nasa.gov/events/first/kickoff.wmv
gets about 600 KB/sec down. Not too bad, it's 292 MB.

Re: BitTorrent Video Clips Available

You know what would be nice is choped up segments that stream, so people can watch them streaming. It can be put into 15 min segments or 20 min and you can stream part by part to save HD space and bandwidth for people.

Re: BitTorrent Video Clips Available

If no one has already done this, I'll sacrifice my ADSL on the altar of putting this stuff on Google Video.

Because Google Video owns.

The background music to the AIM HIGH animation has a fast moving gritty delta blues with a southern good ole boy feel.
I'd say that I don't like it as much as the music from 2005 but that's to negative
