Being courteous to other teams: poof balls

Hi all
I just thought I'd point something out that I thought of while reading http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...threadid=41367

Please remember that there are 1125-ish FIRST teams that are trying to buy those beloved poof balls, so if you see 20 of them at your local Wal-mart, and you know there are other teams that may come to the same Wal-mart, do one of 2 things

1) buy only a couple balls now, enough for you to do prototyping and testing, and leave enough for everyone else to have enough to do the same
2)buy all the balls, and share with neighboring teams

The point is, be courteous to other teams, and don't leave them with nothing to prototype with. You can always buy more as the build season progresses if you need more, but I can't imagine anyone needing 20 balls this early.

Good luck to everyone, and have fun!

Disclaimer: I'm not picking on Andy or the team he mentioned, the thought merely occurred to me because I remember last year my team saying that the local Home Depot's had been completely emptied of the PVC pipe needed for tetras.

EDIT: this idea also applies to the large amounts of lumber needed to build the practice field, don't empty every Home Depot within a 1 hour drive!
