I hate to ask the obvious but... are you using a PWM cable to provide power from an unused PWM output on the RC and do you have a 7.2 backup battery installed on the RC? If you are attempting to power the camera from 12 volts (main battery) or another power source, through some other cable or connection, the camera may be over voltage. Specs are 5.2 to 8.6 volts max on power input.
