Re: Example LabVIEW Apps - Dashboard, CMUcam2 and Motors
Hi, I'm having trouble getting the camera LabVIEW app running. Last year's GUI recognizes the camera fine, but when I start up the LabVIEW app, it says that it cannot find the camera (all applications that might use the serial port are closed).
Any ideas about whats going on? Thanks a bunch, |

Quote:
1. Did you install NI-VISA? 2. Are your serial ports configured correctly in the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX)? Those two topics are covered in the documentation provided with the LabVIEW camera app. -Danny |

Re: Example LabVIEW Apps - Dashboard, CMUcam2 and Motors
Also, make sure your backup battery (on your IFI RC) is fully charged - as it comes in the kit, the backup battery is nearly dead. Sure, the CMUCam2 probably has power, and I even got it to connect once, but there isn't enough juice to carry on a meaningful conversation with the camera.
As long as your COM port is correctly selected within the app (COM1 is default) you should be good-to-go. Are you still having problems? -Danny |
