Help with Files

Hi, I'm a well, I guess you could say junior programmer, though I'm not a complete n00b and I have a question that seems to pose a problem for our entire team. We read the section of the manual that talks about what you need to get the camera to function on the computer. It said Labview 8.0 which we installed and a file called demo.llb. It listed it as an application. We have searched everywhere that we can think of and we cannot locate this file. I don't believe that its part of the Labview software and that it either is on a seperate CD or is a downloadable file. If someone could point me in the right direction as to the location of this file, that would be much appreciated by team 484.

Thanks again.

Note: Page 1 of CMUCAM Setup and Initialization. "Computer with following items: Labview 8 Student edition installed. Labview CMUCam2 demo.llb Application <- (this is the file we can't find) DB9 Male to Female cable from the kit of parts.

Re: Help with Files

Did you go to the coding section of the USFIRST site?
umm actually here is a link to the library im talking about...
Link here

download the pacages off of that forum (you might need to browse around a little bit), and then decrypt them with the key (also found on those forums)

within the zip package that you will hopeflly find, there is a file openable by LabView called CMUcam GUI (or along those lines). that is the file you are looking for.

Re: Help with Files

The cable you are looking for is a black cable, IIRC there were two of them in the kit.. the white electronics box to be exact.

They fit into the big port on the camera, so it isn't a tiny cable like the pwm one

The files are no longer password protected. All updates are being released without passwords.

Cheers,
