Camera field of vision-how big? (pixels)

Hey guys, how big is the cameras field of vision? I am trying to map out the position of the light within the cameras field of view using the CMUcam2 program but I need to know the max values of the x and y values. Thanks!

I, have no clue, I can ask around if I get the chance, it's probably in the manual some where.

Re: Camera field of vision-how big? (pixels)

X is 0-160. Center at 79.

Y is 0-239. Center at 119.

However, this will probably look funny on your readout. You need to double the X value to get a sensible looking aspect ratio because the CMUcam destroys half of the horizontal pixels to create macropixels and save space.

Don't forget the size of the target changes with distance. The lens is a fixed focal length and focus.

Re: Camera field of vision-how big? (pixels)

As long as the height of the camera is fixed, you can figure out your position by the camera pan, tilt, mx, and my data.

That's what I do on this:
