Since the
FIRSTRobotics.net Photo Galleries seem to be down, why not use the Internet surfer's best friend - the
Internet Archive! Seriously, I wish a lot more Internet users knew about the Internet Archive. It is an amazing resource, and is just as useful as Wikipedia or Google. Basically, they try to keep as much as the Internet as possible cached on their servers. They try to keep copies of every website (if only partially) going back to 1996!
So here is where it gets really useful. Since the FIRSTrobotics.net website seems to be down, copy and paste the URL into the Internet Archive. At first, it seems as if the two pages that you want - (which are
here and
here) are not in the Internet Archive. But by
doing a search of every file they have archived for FIRSTrobotics.net, I found that they actually do have the pictures you were looking for.
And here they are - the Techno Ticks 2002 robot!
Trust me. Information or files on the Internet are almost NEVER completely lost. By knowing where to look, you can find almost anything you want, even if the server or domain name no longer exists.
EDIT: Wow, that just went right past me.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any videos
anywhere online of the Technoticks in 2002. But I know I have some DVDs from our team in 2002. I'll have to look to see if there is any video in them of the competitions in 2002 in them, and if there is possibly any video of the Techno Ticks.
