CMUCam2 GUI Tilt Question

Hey, I finally got the camera working, the LabView didn't work for more than 5 minutes before it gave us errors. So I switch to the CMUCAm GUI. I got it default, turned the automatic servo movement on, then picked a color, and tracked it. The camera moved left right just fine, but when we raised the color up and down, the camera did not tilt at all. Also, when the color gets raised, the square on the tracking screen goes down. Like its inverted. When i tried changing the invert setting, the camera didn't track the color anymore. And now the tilt doesn't work.

PS. Does anyone know if we have to color calibrate the camera when its on the robot. And if we do, do we calibrate the color while at the competition?

If you're interested in trying LabVIEW again, please test the version from 2006.01.25 here and let me know what your results are. Perhaps we can figure out what the problem is.

Thanks!

Re: CMUCam2 GUI Tilt Question

I tried the updated version and it gives me an error when I hit the run button. Ir says I think ERROR: 7. Im not sure what it was, because Im not at that computer right now

And now, apparently, the camera board, was mounted on upside down.. Someone else put it together wrong. So I fixed that and now the servos turn away from the object. It sees it then moves the opposite direction. The tilt still doesn't work though. I set the setting on the CMUCam2 GUI to "Invert Tracking" and in the Color tab, when I start trackeing, the whole box turns blue and the camera doesn't move at all. Im getting confused Hopefully when I hook it up to the robot it all works.

Let me know what the error is for sure when you are at the computer again.

Thanks
