LabView CMUcam2 gui

Hi there - we need some basic guidance on what to do after we get the camera hooked up - we tried installing labview onto our laptop and it seems to be working fine, and then we tried to find the gui example app, but ended up with a .jar file that labview doesn't know what to do with. We are stumped, even after searching through posts and threads to find on how to make it all work together - we got the red and green lights on the camera and have it hooked up properly, and the cable to the I/O of the laptop. We cannot get the camera to talk to the laptop, which I think is what it's supposed to do prior to getting it to talk to the robot controller, I really don't know, but could REALLY use HELP.... any thoughts?

A .jar file is a Java archive. The file you have is no doubt the java GUI from last year and has nothing to do with LabVIEW. You need to download the LabVIEW CMUCam2 Application from here.
