Actually I don't think it is. FIRST revised the CMU manual that now shows the camera mounted the other way.

The way he shows it looks right side up mounted this way. We just invert the tilt when we program that servo motor and everything is peechy key...
Taking a frame grab shows the correct "right side up" orientation the way it's shown.
Don't forget to "guard" the camera though...flying balls could break that puppy dog right off.

Well, correct as per the spec's, but easier to use mounted the other way (The actual lens is in the center of horizontal and vertical rotation the other way)
