Re: Portland Regional Social Event???

There hasn't been anything too formal the last couple of years, but there's a nearby mall with a food court and an ice skating rink. So teams have collected there Friday evening for dinner and/or ice skating.

Based on their agenda,

it doesn't appear to have a Social.

Re: Portland Regional Social Event???

I don't know that we have details yet but typically Team 488 will organize something with the ice skating rink in Lloyd Center, the nearby mall, so teams can get a special rate for skate rentals and ice time. Last year, if I recall, it was something reasonable like $6 for rental and a skating session of about four hours. We did this on Friday night.

Lloyd Center is not more than a fifteen minute walk from the Memorial Colosseum.

That sounds really nice. I'd like participate in it if it'll be held this year. I've always wanted to try ice skating...
