Any Way To Edit Manually

Hello,

I am working on programming our robot. Knowing a large amount of C, I type faster than I can drag and drop in the IDE of EasyC. Is there any way to get into a manual mode so I can type all this instead of doing the silly drag and drop? Thanks!!!!

Re: Any Way To Edit Manually

you can edit name.c files in any editor you want (notepad, wordpad...) as long as you save it as a text file.

Re: Any Way To Edit Manually

You can use the MPLab IDE along with the default code that IFI supplies to do your robot programming in straight C.

Re: Any Way To Edit Manually

Yeah, you can just use MPLab.

This post just to clarify that you don't need easy C.

Re: Any Way To Edit Manually

However, if you have other programmers working on the code with you once you start using the MPLAB they may not be able to go back and use easyC. It should be formatting the code in a specific manner.

Re: Any Way To Edit Manually

Warning: The IFI default runs on a different library than the code created by EasyC.

I havent used EasyC, but I remember downloading the trial version of FRCoder (the beta of easy c), and being able to type in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Also, I see no reason why you wouldnt be able to creat your own source files and input them.
